Jibb V2 Rocker 50/ Rocker 55
The suspension of the Jibb V2 is designed around two different rocker links, the Rocker 50 and the Rocker 55. Both rocker links generate 130mm of travel at the rear wheel, each with around 20% of progression. But the differentiating factor is the shock stroke. The Rocker 50 uses 50mm of stroke on the shock to generate 130mm of travel at the rear wheel. The Rocker 55 uses 55mm of stroke to produce the 130mm of travel. This results in a higher leverage ratio for the Rocker 50 that is best suited for riders up to 90kg and a lower leverage ratio for the Rocker 55 that is best for riders over 90kg.
Riders on the lighter end of the scale benefit from the Rocker 50 with more mechanical leverage that helps the damping and adds to the small bump sensitivity. The Rocker 55 enables heavier riders to run a lower air pressure or spring rate and happy damping for the shock.
All Jibb V2 shocks come with 55mm stroke, but the setup recommendations are based on either 50 or 55mm stroke. The 50mm stroke setup leaves 5mm of stroke unused on the shock, but this does not compromise the suspension. You also won't be able to use it unless you use our LT setup recommendations.
